OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone Chairman Orhan Aydın and OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone Regional Manager Adem Arıcı attended the "Industrialization of Software in the Second Century of the Republic of Turkey Summit" organized by the Ankara Chamber of Industry (ASO) Computer Software Industry Professional Committee No. 35.
Chairman Aydın stated that the software sector needs to operate with a clustering model in order to industrialize, brand itself, and succeed in global competition. Citing successful clustering initiatives in seven sectors within OSTİM, Aydın emphasized that the path to competing with global rivals in the sector also lies through clustering.
Aydın stated that the Ministry of Trade provides strategic support to companies through its UR-GE and HİSER programs, ranging from needs analysis to overseas marketing activities, and noted that sectors have achieved significant gains through clusters formed with the support of public institutions and universities.
At the summit, which was also sponsored by Ostim Technopark, Ostim Technopark General Manager Dr. Derya Çağlar participated as a speaker in the Branding and Sustainability panel.
The summit brought together the Chairman of the Turkish Grand National Assembly's Artificial Intelligence Research Commission, AK Party Eskişehir Member of Parliament Fatih Dönmez, Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Ömer Fatih Sayan, President of the Information and Communication Technologies Authority (BTK) Ömer Abdullah Karagözoğlu, President of the Ankara Chamber of Industry Seyit Ardıç, and sector stakeholders.
