The forum, held at the OSTİM OSB Conference Hall, was attended by representatives from vocational schools of universities in Ankara, administrators of vocational and technical high schools, industrialists and business people, OSTİM Technical University graduates and newly enrolled students, and representatives from public institutions.
In his opening speech at the forum, Dr. Turan Şişman, Director of the Vocational School at OSTİM Technical University, emphasized the importance of developing vocational and technical education in line with the needs of a changing world. Şişman stressed the need to equip students with the necessary competencies through education.
Turan Şişman, who also shared the educational model of OSTİM Technical University Vocational School with the participants, stated that they would share the results obtained from the forum with decision-makers.
Within the scope of the forum, the educational model and impact of OSTİM Technical University Vocational School were evaluated by the participants. According to the evaluation results, the Vocational School's educational model was rated 8.69 out of 10 for its contribution to shaping the next generation of vocational education. Its contribution to university-industry collaboration was also rated 8.91 out of 10.
In the forum, moderated by OSTİM Technical University Vocational School lecturers Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doğuş Yüksel and Dr. Bora Öç, participants' views were gathered on the following topics: Future Professions, The Future of Professions, Next Generation Vocational School Profile, Innovative Program Development Process, Next Generation Talents and Talent Development.
The opinions analyzed by artificial intelligence were shared with the participants at the end of the forum.
Various gifts were given to the participants through a raffle.
