Ankara Governor Ercan Topaca said, “In Turkey, unless the private sector and industry develop, it is not possible for us as a country to develop and increase our prosperity. Therefore, since the economic system our country has chosen is a free market economy, our State is trying to implement ways, methods, and incentives that will open doors for you and solve the problems you face.”
Governor Topaca, together with Yenimahalle District Governor Selda Dural and provincial administrators, met with industrialists at an information meeting held in OSTİM. In the first part of his program in the region, Topaca listened to the industrialists' problems and demands.
Speaking at the opening of the meeting in the OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone Conference Hall, OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone Board Chairman Orhan Aydın thanked Governor Ercan Topaca and the provincial administrators for their visit.
“I will keep every promise I make.”
Ercan Topaca, who carefully listened to and took notes on the opinions and suggestions conveyed to him, and assigned tasks to the relevant directors to solve the problems, pointed out the impact of the industrialists' work on Turkey's development.
Topaca made the following remarks: “Your success is the success of our country. The increase in your income is an increase in the income of our country. This is our general approach. Unless the private sector and industry develop in Turkey, it is impossible for us as a country to develop and increase our prosperity. Therefore, since the economic system our country has chosen is a free market economy, our government is trying to implement ways, methods, and incentives that will open doors for you and solve the problems you face. We, as those following up on this in Ankara, are here before you.”
I wish all industrialists success. Hopefully, by producing and us paving the way for you, we will take steps together to bring our country to the place it deserves, to develop our technology, and to improve our prosperity. I want all my colleagues to know that I am sincere in this matter and that I will follow through on every promise I make. If you encounter any difficulties, we, as the Governorship, are very close. If our producing colleagues need us, whether in bureaucracy or other areas, we are close to the Governorship. Hopefully, we will continue to develop OSTİM, becoming an Organized Industrial Zone where beautiful, clean, and beneficial production takes place, setting an example for Turkey.”
Following the meeting, Ankara Governor Ercan Topaca went on a field tour in OSTİM. Topaca visited companies in the region and received information about their production, export, and R&D activities.
