The Austrian trade delegation, representing the Austrian Prime Ministry in Turkey for official contacts, visited OSTİM under the leadership of Gerhard Lackner, Commercial Attaché of the Austrian Embassy.
OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone Chairman Orhan Aydın stated that they were pleased to host the Austrian trade delegation in OSTİM. Expressing his desire to cooperate with Austrian business people, Aydın provided the delegation with information about OSTİM.
Mayor Aydın, noting that OSTİM, as an industrial city, houses many different structures, defined OSTİM as: "A solution center where various sectors interact with each other."
Aydın, who also provided information about the clusters in 7 different sectors in OSTİM, stated, "Each of our clusters serves as an important interface with hundreds of member companies. An interface for commercial cooperation has been established between our clusters in OSTİM. Our clusters operate 24/7, connecting the field with all kinds of problems."
Austrian Embassy Commercial Attaché Gerhard Lackner expressed his pleasure at being in OSTİM. Stating that they were in OSTİM representing the Austrian Chancellery with 11 representatives from 6 companies, Lackner said, “We want to hold meetings to develop cooperation with Turkish companies. Thank you for organizing these bilateral business meetings.”
In bilateral business meetings organized by the OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone Foreign Trade Coordination Office, OSTİM-based companies sat down with large-scale Austrian companies operating in sectors such as steel, mining, renewable energy, and smart agriculture.
