At the signing ceremony held at the Ministry of Family and Social Services, the protocol was signed by Deputy Minister Leman Yenigün on behalf of the Ministry and by Chairman of the Board Orhan Aydın on behalf of the OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone.
Certified certificate and employment opportunities
Deputy Minister of Family and Social Services Leman Yenigün stated that the cooperation protocol aims to contribute to increasing the employment of women and female students by improving their professional qualifications. Yenigün said, “Female students in their final year of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) programs will be given the opportunity to visit companies operating in the OSTİM Industrial Zone and to do internships in these companies.”
Yenigün noted that the protocol will create an Employment Guaranteed Vocational Theoretical and Practical Training Program for women, and that participants who successfully complete the training program will be entitled to receive an approved certificate and have the opportunity to be employed. Leman Yenigün said, “Female students in their final year of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields will be offered the opportunity to visit companies operating in the OSTİM Industrial Zone and to do internships in these companies.”
All resources will be mobilized.
Orhan Aydın, Chairman of the Board of Directors of OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone, stated that OSTİM is a hub for employment, contributing to the implementation of the policies of the Ministry of Family and Social Services. Aydın said, “We will expand and make these more effective in line with your expectations. There are many areas within our ecosystem related to both the participation of women in employment and the development of their entrepreneurship. We will mobilize all the resources in our technology development zone, our technopark, our organized industrial zone, and the vocational training units of our university, and we will utilize all available means to bring the women of our country to the forefront in employment, production, and entrepreneurship.”
OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone Board Chairman Orhan Aydın made the following statement: “There are many areas within our ecosystem related to both the participation of women in employment and the development of their entrepreneurship. We will mobilize all units of our university related to vocational training in our Technology Development Zone, our technopark, and our organized industrial zone, and we will utilize all available resources to bring the women of our country to the forefront in employment, production, and entrepreneurship. We are already operating an Employment Office in our organized industrial zone. We believe in the importance of these projects for our country. We promise you that we will do our part, together with our team members, to ensure the success of the Ministry's projects. We will stand by this promise.”
