Eleven Malaysian companies operating in the defense, aerospace, and automotive sectors have arrived in Turkey under the coordination of the Malaysian Investment Agency.
The delegation, accompanied by the Malaysian Ambassador to Ankara, Amran Bin Mohammed Zin, met with members of the OSTİM Defence and Aerospace Cluster (OSSA). Malaysian companies gave presentations introducing their production capabilities and firms.
During the program, where collaboration opportunities were discussed, OSSA members held bilateral business meetings with guest companies.
Ambassador Amran Bin Mohammed Zin, providing information about Malaysian companies' investments in Turkey, stated that cooperation between the two countries would be very beneficial and productive. Zin added that their doors were wide open to OSTİM companies and that they were ready to meet with them whenever they wished.
The experienced diplomat also met with Orhan Aydın, Chairman of the Board of Directors of OSTİM. Chairman Aydın pointed out that Malaysia is an important country in the D-8 platform and offers significant cooperation opportunities with its advanced production capabilities.
The managers of the sectoral clusters operating in OSTİM also gave presentations to Ambassador Zin about their production and products, and explained potential cooperation opportunities.
