OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone is forging a model collaboration with Vodafone, one of Turkey's leading GSM operators.
Through a collaborative effort between the two institutions, e-waste collected for the ‘These Wastes Write Code!’ project will be recycled by a licensed recycling organization. This recycling will reduce the environmental impact of e-waste, and the resulting economic revenue will be used to open coding classes for children in schools in need. These coding classes will be positioned as EBA Support Points to support distance learning.
Within the framework of this cooperation, unused or non-functional electronic waste can be left in specially created electronic waste recycling bins at the OSTİM OSB Regional Directorate. OSTİM OSB Environment and Security Directorate teams can collect e-waste from businesses upon request.
Let's work together to transform electronic waste into smiles for our children!
