Ankara University Rector Prof. Dr. Erkan İbiş held meetings in OSTİM. OSTİM Board Chairman Orhan Aydın informed İbiş about the ongoing projects in the region and the institutions within OSTİM. Aydın highlighted the contributions of Ankara University Rector Prof. Dr. Erkan İbiş to the establishment of Ostim Technical University and provided information about the university's activities.
Ankara University is also the sponsoring university of OSTİM Technical University.
Orhan Aydın, reminding that Ankara University is one of the partners of Ostim Technopark Inc., said, “Our technopark, of which you are a partner, continues its journey very successfully. It continues its work with qualified companies in three buildings within the region.”
“It’s important to be a thematic university”
Rector Prof. Dr. Erkan İbiş also pointed out the importance of university and industry collaboration. Highlighting OSTİM Technical University, İbiş stated, “It is very important for organizations like yours to establish universities. Incentives should be provided for this. Becoming a thematic university is important.”
Rector İbiş conducted inspections at technology companies operating in Ostim Technopark as part of the OSTİM program. Finally, he also visited OSTİM Technical University, where he listened to Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ünsal Sığrı explain student quotas, departments, and ongoing projects.
