Ankara's business community came together at the İŞİM iftar program. Speaking to guests at the iftar program, İŞİM Board Chairman Yeliz Özkaraoğlu reminded them that Ankara is the center of the business and construction machinery sector. Özkaraoğlu emphasized the importance of holding sectoral fairs in Ankara and indicated that the demand for exhibition space should be supported.
OSTİM Chairman Orhan Aydın, in his speech, stated that they believe producing and providing employment is also a form of worship. He emphasized that worship is not only about fasting and praying, but also about improving the world, which is just as important as fasting and praying. Aydın stressed that İŞİM members, with their machinery and equipment, make significant contributions to production, employment, and the improvement and development of the world.
Clustering increases competitiveness.
- Serdar Tütek, President of ASO 1st Organized Industrial Zone, stated that the construction and industrial machinery sector is a strategic area for Ankara's industry. Tütek, whose company Serdar Plastik is also a member of İŞİM (Construction and Industrial Machinery Manufacturers Association), said that the clustering structure creates strong synergy among companies. He emphasized that the solidarity, shared production culture, and knowledge sharing among industrialists through clustering increase the sector's competitiveness.

ASO President Seyit Ardıç pointed out that İŞİM, established in OSTİM in 2007, was the first cluster in our country and a pioneer of cluster culture.
Emphasizing that İŞİM's work is a concrete example of what industrialists can achieve when they work together and scale up, Ardıç continued: “We are in a period where global competition is intensifying and the rules are being rewritten.
Supply chains are being reshaped. Digitalization, sustainability, and efficiency are no longer choices but necessities. In such an environment, clusters are strategic structures that enable our companies to reach scales and impacts they cannot achieve alone. In this sense, İŞİM is an important leverage that increases the competitiveness not only of its members but also of Ankara and our country's industry. I believe that with this shared intelligence and cooperation culture formed under the umbrella of İŞİM, our sector will become a much stronger player on a global scale.”
OSTİM Technical University Rector Prof. Dr. Murat Yülek stated that OSTİM Technical University, as the university of industry, is deeply involved in the business world. Explaining the advantages of owning product design rights in global competition, Yülek noted that OSTİM Technical University is always ready to cooperate with industrialists.
