At the OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone Regional Directorate, OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone Board Member Yaşar Özelge briefed the expert assistants about the work being carried out in the region. Fevzi Gökalp, Coordinator of the Business and Construction Machinery Cluster, explained OSTİM's structure, clusters, and activities.
Expert assistants, who examined the products and production processes of EMGE Elektro Mekanik Gereçler Endüstri A.Ş., a member of the OSTİM Defense and Aerospace Cluster, on-site, received information at the incubation center and Prota Technology Production Workshop in Ostim Technopark. During their visit to Elmed A.Ş., an Ostim Technopark company, the expert assistants were briefed by the company's General Manager, Sinan Kabakçı, about the kidney stone crushing robot, which has become a significant brand worldwide.
During their orientation program, the assistant specialists also visited OSTİM Technical University. Rector Prof. Dr. Murat Yülek explained the importance of close collaboration with the field in planning processes and invited them to participate in all of OSTİM Technical University's master's programs, particularly the Industrial Policies and Technology Management program. Yülek emphasized that each assistant specialist is a potential future manager in important public institutions.
OSTİM Technical University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ünsal Sığrı also informed the expert assistants about the university's educational model and its unique features.
