Following a moment of silence and the recitation of the National Anthem, Sıtkı Öztuna, Deputy Chairman of the OSTİM OSB Board of Directors, was unanimously elected as the Chairman of the Assembly, and Evren Bulut, President of Gül 86 Cooperative, was unanimously elected as a member of the Assembly Board.
Addressing the General Assembly at the opening, OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone Board Chairman Orhan Aydın drew attention to the importance of the projects carried out in the region, saying, “We will make decisions that will allow us to continue our activities with even greater energy in the coming years. This year's theme is; Turkey for the good of the world, and OSTİM for the good of Turkey. The decisions to be taken at this General Assembly are also important for the good of OSTİM.”
Subsequently, in turn, OSTİM OSB Regional Manager Adem Arıcı read the 2023 Activity Report and the 2024 Work Program; OSTİM OSB Audit Committee Member Süleyman Eser read the Audit Committee Report; OSTİM OSB Financial and Administrative Affairs Manager Mustafa Ayvaz read the balance sheet and income and expense accounts; and Certified Public Accountant and Independent Auditor Halit Küçükçelik read the OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone Directorate Certified Public Accountant Audit and Certification Report.
The Activity Report, work plan, income and expenditure accounts, audit committee report, and independent audit committee report were discussed and unanimously approved.
The General Assembly was attended by: Prof. Dr. Murat Yülek, Rector of OSTİM Technical University; Ayşe Saraçoğlu, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Construction and Industrial Machinery Cluster; Yaşar Çelik, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the OSTİM Renewable Energy and Environmental Technologies Cluster; Cenk Çınarbaş, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the OSTİM Rubber Technologies Cluster; Abdullah Çörtü, General Manager of OSTİM Industrial Investments and Operations Inc.; Murat Kandazoğlu, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of OSTİMSPOR Club; Abdurrahman Altundal, Coordinator of OSTİM OSB Technical College; and OSTİM OSB General Assembly Delegates.
