The OSTİM Sports Club's 2023-2024-2025 Ordinary General Assembly Meeting was held in the OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone Regional Directorate Training Hall.
At the General Assembly, OSTİM Deputy Chairman Sıtkı Öztuna was unanimously elected as the Chairman of the Board, and OSTİM Investment Inc. General Manager Abdullah Çörtü was unanimously elected as a member.
Following a moment of silence and the recitation of the National Anthem, Murat Kandazoğlu, Chairman of the Board of Directors of OSTİM Sports Club, described the club's activities during the past period. Kandazoğlu stated, “Our OSTİM Sports Club, founded in 1986 with our Board Member Ekrem Algül as one of its founders, has achieved significant successes in Ankara and Turkey since its establishment. Today, OSTİM Sports Club carries out sporting, social, and cultural activities with 300 athletes. Our club continues its activities in various fields, including an amateur football team and a Turkish Folk Music Choir.”
OSTİM Board Chairman Orhan Aydın, in his assessment of the activity report, recalled the tournaments organized by the club in previous years. Suggesting that the club's branches should be diversified with alternative sports alongside football, Aydın also drew attention to the potential for collaboration between OSTİM Sports Club and OSTİM Technical University.
Tournaments are being planned
Adem Arıcı, a member of the OSTİM Sports Club Board of Directors, provided information about the club's upcoming work program. Noting that they will continue their activities in the field of sports, Arıcı explained that they plan to expand their sporting activities in OSTİM through tournaments in various fields such as football, table tennis, and chess, as well as organize cultural and artistic activities and events with OSTİM Technical University.
At the General Assembly, the Board of Directors' Activity Report was discussed and unanimously approved. The Audit Committee Report was also unanimously approved. The estimated budget was discussed and approved.
In the elections for the main and alternate governing bodies of the Management and Audit Committees, the current board of directors was unanimously re-elected. The OSTİM Sports Club Board of Directors consists of: President Murat Kandazoğlu, Vice President Hamza Akca, and Board Members; Ümit Güçlü, Adem Arıcı, and Ekrem Algül.
Behzat Zeydan, Ömer Faruk Düzenli, and Ekrem Cömert were unanimously re-elected to the OSTİM Sports Club Supervisory Board.
Yusuf Akmaz, Hamza Akca, and Mehmet Ali Bulut were unanimously elected as delegates to the Ankara Amateur Sports Clubs Federation.
