The 2024 Ordinary General Assembly of Ostim Technopark was held on April 16, 2025, at the Orange Building campus, with the participation of representatives from the Technopark's partners: OSTİM Foundation, OSTİM Technical University, Ankara University, Atılım University, Çankaya University, Hacettepe University, Başkent University, TOBB University of Economics and Technology, and OSTİM Renewable Energy and Environmental Technologies Cluster (OSTİMENERJİK).
Çankaya University Rector Prof. Dr. Hadi Hakan Maraş was unanimously elected as the Chair of the Assembly, and OSTİM Foundation Director Gülnaz Karaosmanoğlu was unanimously elected as a member of the Assembly.
2.4 billion TL R&D revenue
Ostim Technopark General Manager Dr. Derya Çağlar briefed the general assembly on the company's activities in 2024. Çağlar noted that in 2024, the company generated 2.4 billion TL in R&D revenue and achieved 7.3 million dollars in exports. Sharing the 2025 targets, Çağlar stated that technological competence would be increased by integrating new manufacturing techniques into the robotics and automation facilities of the PROTA Technology Production Workshop.
“We are pursuing science and technology”
Orhan Aydın, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ostim Teknopark A.Ş., recalled that they were partners in the establishment process of ODTÜ Teknokent, Turkey's first technopark. Aydın said, "As OSTİM, we are in search of and pursuing the university, science, and technology."
Aydın noted that during the establishment process of Ostim Technopark, they aimed to create synergy with industry by partnering with universities in Ankara, and added, “At the same time, we have no limits in internationalizing Ostim Technopark. Ostim Technopark has become a founding partner of the Southeast European Science and Technology Parks and Innovation Zones Alliance, which is formed by technoparks in Balkan countries. Ms. Derya has also joined its management. We want to be active not only in the Balkans, but also in the network in Turkic Republics and African countries.”
