A Framework Protocol of Cooperation and Goodwill was signed between OSTİM and the Kyrgyzstan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Within the framework of the Turkey-Kyrgyzstan Trade and Investment Forum held at the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), a Cooperation and Goodwill Framework Protocol was signed between OSTİM and the Kyrgyzstan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The protocol was signed by Orhan Aydın, Chairman of the Board of Directors of OSTİM, on behalf of the company, and Marat Sharshekeev on behalf of the Kyrgyzstan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
With this protocol, the two sides agreed on the development and operation of organized industrial zones planned to be established in Kyrgyzstan.
The signing ceremony was attended by TOBB President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, Kyrgyzstan's Ambassador to Ankara Ibragim Dzhunusov, Kyrgyzstan's Minister of Economy Arzybek Kozhoshev, and Turkish Minister of Customs and Trade Bülent Tüfenkçi.
Within the scope of the protocol:
Upon request from the Kyrgyz Republic Chamber of Commerce and Industry, OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone Directorate will prepare and submit a financial plan within the scope of the project for the establishment of investment infrastructure, including electricity, water network and sewerage, wastewater recycling stations, construction of sidewalks and roads, laying of telephone lines, and logistics services.
Upon request from the Kyrgyz Republic Chamber of Commerce and Industry, OSTİM will provide all necessary data, information, and references regarding its technical and financial capabilities within the scope of the project.
OSTİM will provide consultancy and support services to investors in Kyrgyzstan regarding the provision of incentives, grants, and funds.
