Roketsan Chairman of the Board Mehmet Emin Alpman, Roketsan General Manager Selçuk Yaşar, and company executives met with the management of OSTİM and the OSTİM Defence and Aerospace Cluster (OSSA).
Orhan Aydın, Chairman of the OSTİM Board of Directors, who provided information about the region to the guests, said, "The formation of the ecosystem in OSTİM and the emergence of companies are thanks to the infrastructure created by Roketsan, ASELSAN, TAI, and MKE."
Roketsan General Manager Selçuk Yaşar reminded that the defense industry contributes to the development of many sectors. Yaşar stated, “Those who work for defense also work for medical, electronics, and transportation. We have been working with OSTİM since our establishment.”
During the visit, Alpman emphasized the importance of solution partners, especially SMEs, and stated that they work with more than 1600 subcontractors, saying, "Our doors are open to everyone, regardless of size. As long as they produce something."
Highlighting the functions of organizations like OSTİM in identifying subcontractors, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Roketsan stated: “This is a job that requires advanced technology and patience. If you produce with quality, it lasts a lifetime; if you produce with poor quality, you only do it once. We like to share. As long as you win, we win.”
