At the 2023 Ordinary General Assembly Meeting of Ostim Technopark, an establishment of the OSTİM Foundation with partners including OSTİM Renewable Energy and Environmental Technologies Cluster, OSTİM Technical University, Ankara University, Hacettepe University, Başkent University, Çankaya University, TOBB ETÜ University and Atılım University, Çankaya University Rector Prof. Dr. Hadi Hakan Maraş was unanimously elected as the Chairman of the Assembly, and Ankara University Quality Coordinator Dr. Suna Ertunç was elected as a member of the Assembly Board.
Orhan Aydın, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ostim Technopark Inc., stated that they established Ostim Technopark in partnership with 7 universities to take university-industry collaboration to higher levels. Aydın emphasized that the university partners should take more ownership of Ostim Technopark.
88 products were launched in 2023
Ostim Technopark General Manager Dr. Derya Çağlar presented the park's activities for 2023. Highlighting a nearly 700% increase in exports from the technopark, Çağlar stated, “In 2023, our companies' total tax exemptions amounted to 250 million TL, R&D revenue reached 1 billion TL, and exports totaled 7.5 million dollars. 88 new products were launched from our technopark in 2023.”
Ostim Technopark's 2023 income and expenditure accounts were read by Ostim Technopark Administrative and Financial Affairs Head, Certified Public Accountant Harun Akgül.
The activity report, income and expenditure accounts, and the board of directors were unanimously approved.
The new board of directors was formed as follows following the election: Chairman of the Board Orhan Aydın, Vice Chairman Adem Arıcı, and Board Members Prof. Dr. Berna Dengiz from Başkent University, Dr. Esra Yükseltürk, Deputy Director of OSTİM Technical University Vocational School, and Gökhan Topal, Director of OSTİM Technical University Technology Transfer Office.
