The OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone General Assembly Meeting was held in the OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone Conference Hall. At the meeting, where the 2018 activities were shared and the 2019 work program was presented, Chairman of the Board Orhan Aydın, in his opening speech, emphasized the importance of production for a strong future.
Chairman Aydın reminded that OSTİM OSB's vision is 'To be a sustainable, global, and pioneering industrial zone that leads the Turkish industry by providing services beyond expectations, being the first choice in production and supply with local, national, and competitive solutions,' and noted that increasing the competitiveness of the firms in the region is one of their primary goals.
OSTİM is not limited to the Organized Industrial Zone boundaries.
Underlining that OSTİM is not limited to the Organized Industrial Zone boundaries, Orhan Aydın said, “Sometimes we carry out activities that encompass the Ankara basin. Sometimes we go beyond that; we carry out activities that encompass Turkey. And sometimes we even surpass that, participating in international activities. In other words, we are not just a neighborhood team playing in this neighborhood; we are proud to be in an environment where our companies, organizations, and projects follow the whole world, work with them, and compare themselves to them on the international stage.”
Without production, there are no solutions to problems.
Stating that they strongly believe in production, Aydın said the following in his speech at the General Assembly: “I don't see a solution to any problem without production. In other words, without production, without employment, without people having jobs and food, there is no remedy or solution to any problem discussed in society. So what will we do? What can we add to the companies of those who produce, what can we contribute? How can we pave the way for them to produce more? This is the issue we constantly think about.”
Our goal is 100% customer satisfaction.
Of course, we provide municipal services here. We need to solve these problems more efficiently, faster, and more actively than the municipality. We can solve the problems of all our companies under one roof; we can offer these services competitively as a one-stop office. We are faster, cheaper, and more effective than the municipality in carrying out these activities. This is our reason for existence. While doing this, we ask our companies individually about the feedback we provide. We ask them on the phone whether they leave here 100% satisfied. We try to keep this at the 97-98% level. We also visit companies that have complaints or dissatisfaction as much as possible. We try our best to satisfy them as well. Our goal is 100% customer satisfaction. It's impossible for us, as managers alone, to achieve this. We do this as a team, as all employees. If there is such success, it is definitely not just us as management, but also our valuable employees. I would like to thank all our employees on this occasion. I would like to thank our Board of Directors and Supervisory Board, our delegates, and our stakeholders. Our whole purpose is... We will continue our efforts to make our companies in OSTİM and the companies in the cluster formed by OSTİM's organization more efficient, effective, and production-oriented.
OSTİM is a model for Turkey
As OSTİM, our goal is to be better and ahead of other comparable regions in Turkey. We sometimes compare ourselves. When people from many cities, institutions, and organizations in Turkey come to OSTİM in Ankara and ask us, ‘You are doing great things here. We want to do similar things in our own region. How can we do this?’, this truly motivates us. With the hope and wish that we will all work together to take OSTİM to even greater heights, we will achieve even better things together.”
Following the speeches, OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone Regional Manager Adem Arıcı presented the 2018 activities. Providing information about the 2019 work program, Arıcı stated, "Almost all of our activities are aimed at facilitating the work of our producers here, contributing to their success, and speeding up their bureaucratic processes."
At the meeting, the 2018 activity report, the 2019 work program, income and expenditure accounts, the 2019 budget, and the audit committee report were read and discussed, after which they were unanimously approved.
