The Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Lesotho, Samuel Matekane, along with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Lejone Mpotjoana, the Minister of Trade and Industry, Mokhethi Shelile, the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Thabo Mofosi, and other officials, visited OSTİM. The Lesotho delegation was accompanied by the Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology, Muhammet Kasım Gönüllü, and the Director General of Bilateral Relations for Southern and Multilateral Africa at the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Ali Onaner.
OSTİM Board Chairman Orhan Aydın stated that they consider it their duty to develop cooperation between Lesotho and Turkey. Aydın said, “I believe we should develop collaborations for the good of both Lesotho and Turkey. I hope this meeting, which will also benefit Lesotho, will lead to good collaborations and good projects. We can be a point of cooperation and solution for Lesotho in Turkey and Ankara.”
Prime Minister Samuel Matekane of the Kingdom of Lesotho said, “Today, we would like to say that we are ready to cooperate with whatever OSTİM offers us. We are open to cooperation both as a government, as the public sector, and as the private sector. We would like to show you the opportunities in Lesotho. You will also see the potential when you visit our country. I am already very excited to cooperate and work together.”
During the program, Esma Akyüz, Coordinator of the OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone Foreign Trade Office, provided information about OSTİM.
The Prime Minister of Lesotho and his delegation, as part of the OSTİM program, visited Dora Makine, a member of the OSTİM Defence and Aerospace Cluster (OSSA), as well as OSTİM Technopark and OSTİM Technical University, and exchanged information on areas of cooperation. The Prime Minister of Lesotho was welcomed by African students at OSTİM Technical University.
