The program, held at the OSTİM OSB Conference Hall, was attended by the Ambassador of Rwanda to Ankara, Fidelis Ntampaka Mironko, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of OSTİM OSB, Orhan Aydın, the Director of the Rwanda Development Board, Philip Lucky, and the Commercial Attaché of the Rwandan Embassy in Ankara, Lucas Morenzi.
“Every country needs OSTİM”
Orhan Aydın, Chairman of the Board of Directors of OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone, noted that OSTİM could be a focal point in the development of commercial collaborations between Türkiye and Rwanda.
Aydın emphasized that OSTİM, with the ecosystem it has created, possesses all the components related to the end-to-end development of a city, stating, "We have created an end-to-end structure with our ecosystem. We are trying to deliver the OSTİM model to every country that needs it. Every country needs OSTİM.”
Rwanda's Ambassador to Ankara, Fidelis Ntampaka Mironko, emphasized the helpfulness and kindness of the Turkish people and expressed his belief that Rwandan businesspeople would develop significant collaborations with Turkish businesspeople.
Philip Lucky, Director of the Rwanda Development Board, provided information about investment opportunities in his country. Stating that Rwanda, with its population of 13 million, offers significant market potential for Turkey, Lucky said, “Rwanda is a member of the East African Community. It has customs union agreements with 8 countries. Rwanda offers duty-free access to a market with a total population of 300 million.”
