The agreement was signed at the Turkey-Uzbekistan Business Forum held at the TOBB Twin Towers by Orhan Aydın, Chairman of the Board of Directors of OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone (OSB), and Kudratov Laziz Shavkatovich, Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Also present at the signing ceremony were Sıtkı Öztuna, Vice Chairman of OSTİM OSB; Adem Arıcı, Regional Manager of OSTİM OSB; Jamshid Khidoyatov, Director of OSTİM Global Uzbekistan; Esma Akyüz, Foreign Trade Coordinator of OSTİM OSB; and Fevzi Gökalp, Coordinator of the Business and Construction Machinery Cluster (İŞİM).
The Turkey-Uzbekistan Business Forum was held with the participation of Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance of Uzbekistan Jamshid Kuchkarov, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan Dovran Vakhabov, and Board Member of the Foreign Economic Relations Council (DEİK) Reha Denemeç.
At the panel on the Implementation of Joint Investment Projects in Mining and Geology held within the forum, OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone Regional Manager Adem Arıcı introduced the OSTİM ecosystem. Arıcı also shared information about Ohangaron Tech Industrial, planned in Uzbekistan with OSTİM's consultancy, and OSTİM Global Turkish Directorate, an Uzbek-Turkish Organized Industrial Zone that will be managed by OSTİM.
