OSTİM Ecosystem, one of the most successful examples of Turkey's experience in establishing and operating Organized Industrial Zones, is being built in Uzbekistan with a local, green, and innovative approach.

On December 15, 2023, by decree of the Presidency of Uzbekistan, the Uzbek-Turkish Organized Industrial Zone is being built on a 100-hectare area allocated to OSTİM Global Project and Technology Inc. in Tashkent.

Following the Uzbekistan-Turkey OSTİM Business Forum, themed "New Opportunities for Turkish and Uzbek Business," held in Tashkent on November 28, 2024, in collaboration with the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan, OSTİM Global Project and Technology Inc. and OSTİM Global Turkish Classification Directorate inaugurated the management and sales office of the Uzbek-Turkish Organized Industrial Zone with the participation of high-level representatives from the Turkish and Uzbek public and business sectors.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Aliev Akram Zairovich; the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Tashkent, Dr. Olgan Bekar; the Deputy Governor of Ankara, Cihangir Güler; the Director General of International Services Trade of the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Turkey, Tarık Sönmez; the President of the Ankara Chamber of Commerce, Gürsel Baran; the President of the Ankara Chamber of Industry, Seyit Ardıç; the Mayor of Beypazarı, Dr. Özer Kasap; the Chairman of the Board of Directors of OSTİM, Orhan Aydın; the Vice Chairman of OSTİM, Sıtkı Öztuna; the Regional Manager of OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone, Adem Arıcı; and representatives of the Turkish and Uzbek business communities.

OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone Regional Manager and Uzbekistan Project Coordinator, Architect Adem Arıcı, informed the participants about the regional plan and the opportunities offered.

The region is situated at the heart of a strong logistics network, thanks to its proximity to highway, rail, and air routes.

The area, which will host manufacturing companies developing high technology and conducting R&D activities, will become a center of attraction.

The region, developed with a regional development approach, will attract domestic and foreign investors operating in strategic sectors and contributing to the national economy.
