Asya Trafik, a member of the OSTİM Renewable Energy and Environmental Technologies Cluster, received the Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
In the final of the SME and Entrepreneurship Award Ceremony, organized for the 3rd time this year by KOSGEB, 40 companies competed in 8 categories. The awards were presented to the winning companies by Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu, Minister of Science, Industry and Technology Fikri Işık, and KOSGEB President Recep Biçer.
Founded in 2011, Asya Trafik operates in the fields of signaling, intelligent traffic systems, road safety products, solar energy systems, LED systems, traffic signs, as well as software and project design services.
General Manager Mehmet Akif Çelik, who received the award from Prime Minister Davutoğlu, said, “I would like to express my gratitude to my team members, employees, KOSGEB officials, the ODTÜ OSTİM Technopark Management, the OSTİM Renewable Energy and Environmental Technologies Cluster, and OSTİM officials for their contributions in helping us receive this award; I wholeheartedly believe that thanks to the support of our government, we will become a "World Brand". We will continue on the path we started with the slogan "From Asia to the whole World" by increasing our R&D studies and production capacity in the field of traffic and road safety.”
