Steelwork Lathe

Founded in 1963 in the New Industrial Zone with a single lathe, Çelik İş Torna Ltd. continued its operations in the same location until 1987, expanding its machinery park, and then moved to the Automotive Industrial Zone that same year. Over time, Çelik İş Torna has prioritized the development of its machinery and technology. Its core machinery, the lathes, has seen significant growth with the supply of computer-controlled CNC lathes. In 2003, it continued its production as a company with a focus on growth. Production processes are largely based on customer technical documentation. In this context, the quality standards and expectations of major customers, such as Türk Traktör Factory, are prioritized. To this end, a quality system has been established and its applications are ongoing. These efforts are based on Türk Traktör A.Ş.'s subcontractor quality audit procedures and ISO 9000 quality certificate requirements. The work began with the support of a quality system consultant, and included the creation of the system, the provision of quality training to personnel, the preparation of documentation, and its implementation. The company's goal is to improve quality levels and guarantee customer satisfaction together with its globally renowned main machinery manufacturer clients.
