Growing rapidly since its establishment, Dalgakıran Kompresör was founded in 1965 in Karaköy, Istanbul, on an area of 25,000 m2. As Türkiye's largest industrial compressor manufacturer and exporter, the company continues its production in Sancaktepe, Istanbul, with three integrated factories totaling 25,000 m2 of covered area, thanks to new investments made to date.

Dalgakıran Compressor was established with 100% domestic capital, and product development is carried out by the company's in-house R&D departments. Continuing its efforts to become Turkey's first and only R&D center for compressor and compressed air technologies, Dalgakıran's R&D team produces only products of its own design. Furthermore, under the leadership of its R&D team, it produces compressors that provide energy efficiency advantages, and also offers options for improving the energy efficiency of standard compressors.

The company holds numerous quality certificates and documents issued by institutions considered authorities in Turkey and worldwide, including ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System, Turkish and French Lloyd, Marine Type Approval Certificates, CE and Product Safety Certification, TSE, TSEK, GOST-R, UKRSEPRO and Turqum.

All Dalgakıran products, which have CE certification, are subjected to safety tests such as LV (Low Voltage) and EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) in accordance with the Machinery Directive.

Since its establishment, Dalgakıran Compressor has attracted attention with its quality products, including: belt-driven and direct-coupled oil-lubricated and oil-free fixed and variable speed screw compressors, single and double-stage reciprocating compressors, reciprocating booster compressors, high-pressure starting air compressors for marine and power station applications, booster compressors for PET bottle blowing machines, low-pressure silo compressors, screw and reciprocating air compressors for railway vehicles, diesel-powered mobile compressors, compressed air dryers, filter groups and tanks, as well as generators and cooling systems.
