Karyer Makine was founded in Ankara in 1953 by Zeki Yerdelen. It later continued its business with headquarters in Istanbul and Ankara, and for 66 years has been a continuously operating representative firm in Türkiye in the heavy construction and earthmoving machinery sector. For 40 years, Karyer has been the sole authorized representative in Turkey for Bomag Road Rollers and Road Machinery, making it a market leader in its sector.

Tatmak began its business life with the aim of operating in the light construction and storage equipment sector. In 1977, it was the first to bring the world's most well-known LINDE Forklifts to the Turkish market and served as the Turkish representative for Linde Forklifts for many years. Later, in 1972, Erman Yerdelen was the first to bring Putzmeister Concrete Pumps, a German brand and known as the world's best concrete pump, to the Turkish market. At that time, concrete pumps, a group of machines completely unknown to the Turkish market, thus entered the Turkish market for the first time.

After operating for many years as the Turkish representative of Putzmeister Concrete Pumps, Tatmak manufactured Putzmeister Concrete Pumps in Türkiye, first in Gayrettepe and then in Göktürk, Istanbul, under a German patent and with Turkish majority ownership. Having ceased production of Putzmeister Concrete Pumps for over 40 years in 2006, Tatmak continued its business solely as a representative firm. Today, Tatmak successfully continues its active business in Türkiye in the light equipment sector.

Karyer-Tatmak group companies operate primarily as market leaders in the road machinery sector in Türkiye. Karyer and Tatmak also operate in the fields of Bucher road sweepers used in city cleaning, Heli brand forklifts, and various personnel lifts.

Karyer-Tamak, as a distributor of the brands, meets all the needs of its customers by providing sales, after-sales service and spare parts services, as well as rental services and used vehicle sales.
