With a 46-year success story behind it, Kozanoğlu Kozmaksan Ltd. Şti. was established in Ankara in 1972 to serve the hydraulic and automotive sectors.

The construction boom that began with Turkey's reconstruction brought with it a boom in the truck industry and, consequently, a need for dump trucks. To capitalize on this potential, our company initially began producing dump pumps for construction trucks used on construction sites. Shortly afterward, in addition to dump pumps, we also accelerated the production of "PTO" (Power Take-Off) units, also known as auxiliary gearboxes, in the Ankara Ostim Organized Industrial Zone starting in 1980.

Since 2006, our company has been continuing its production in its new factory with a total area of 5000 m2 in the ASO 1st Organized Industrial Zone, manufacturing vehicle-mounted equipment and mobile hydraulic superstructure applications used in all types of commercial vehicles; including PTOs (Power Take-Offs), Intermediate Transmissions, Sandwich Type Intermediate Transmissions, 4x4 Transfer Cases, Speed Adjuster Gearboxes, Motor Gearboxes and related auxiliary hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.

Our products are mainly used in dump trucks, hydraulic garbage trucks, snowplows, road sweepers, fuel tankers, asphalt pavers and salt spreaders, mobile hydraulic cranes, tow trucks, hook loaders, aerial platforms, car carriers, fire trucks, and combined sewer cleaning vehicles. Intermediate gearboxes are used in combined sewer cleaning vehicles, concrete pumps, septic tank cleaning vehicles, vacuum trucks, and fire trucks. Dual-output intermediate gearboxes are recommended for vehicles that do not have a PTO output or do not have sufficient capacity for the application. Our company started producing PTOs for concrete pumps and concrete mixers in early 2007. Adopting quality in its products and production processes, our company has certified its system and product quality by obtaining ISO 9001:2008 certification in accordance with Turkish Standards Institute criteria, ISO 14001:2004 certification in accordance with Environmental Management Standards criteria, and CE certification in accordance with the European Union's new approach directives.
