Öğütler Supermarket was founded in 1964 by Hakkı and Ömer Öğüt as a small neighborhood grocery store in the Ulucanlar district. Father and son quickly gained the affection and trust of the local community through their work ethic and honesty. Their hard work paid off, and in 1968, Öğüt Grocery opened its second branch in Gülveren. With the opening of another branch in 1970, Öğüt Grocery became a mini-chain with three branches, bringing a new dimension to retail at that time. Over time, the second generation took the lead in development and progress, taking the first steps towards institutionalization. Three young businessmen (Abbas, Sadık, and Hamza Öğüt) then established Öğütler Gıda San. Pazar. Ticaret Ltd. Şti., continuing the journey with a new name, a new generation, but the same honesty. Coming from a family of tradespeople and having been involved in the business from a young age, this new generation, with the advantage of that combined with their sense of responsibility, has become a unified body and has fulfilled their duties in the best possible way.

Öğütler Supermarket opened its first branch in 1991 in the Eryaman district with a 500 square meter store, making it the largest supermarket in Ankara at the time. Since then, it has expanded to 13 branches, maintaining its steady growth in the food retail sector in Ankara by offering services based on trust, quality, and a customer-focused business policy.

Öğütler Supermarket was founded in 1999 with the motto of providing quality and affordable service to the people of Ankara by establishing Burç Gıda Üretim Paz. Aş and becoming the Ankara distributor for Şekersüt dairy products. Later, under the Burç Gıda company, it continued to manufacture pastries, desserts, and other baked goods to offer clean, high-quality, and affordable baked goods to the people of Ankara.

In 2009, Öğütler began construction of a milking facility with a capacity of 1000 head of cattle in Kalfat town, Orta district, Çankırı province. As of 2010, the facility, which imported 300 pregnant heifers from Detroit, USA, has been operating under the brand Öğütler Our Own Farm. Our company has a milk production capacity of 25 tons and offers its customers milk produced in-house at its own factory, processed into products free of additives and preservatives.

Öğütler continues its daily sheep milk production with 3,000 sheep on its own farm. The produced sheep milk is processed into tulum cheese with its unique flavor, without additives or preservatives, and after at least 6 months of fermentation, it is offered for sale on its shelves.

What distinguishes Öğütler from other farms in Turkey is that it produces its own milk and dairy products, as well as meat and meat products, without additives or preservatives, and sells them exclusively in the Öğütler supermarket chain.
