Uraz Motorlu Araçlar Tic. Ve San. A.Ş.

Necmettin URAZ began his career in 1949 as the director of TAMAL Ticaret A.Ş., established as the Turkish representative of British Ferguson Tractors. This marked the beginning of a path that would later lead to the establishment of URAZ A.Ş., a company renowned throughout Turkey for its expertise and integrity.

This was followed in 1951 by the establishment of Tarım Teknik Ltd. Şti., founded by David Brawn and two friends, for the sale and servicing of tractors and equipment. However, due to the currency shortage and subsequent halt in imports at the time, the company was liquidated. In 1959, under the name Teknik Dizel, which can be considered the cornerstone of URAZ, the first comprehensive diesel service center, offering Lucas and Cav service and spare parts, was opened in Ankara's Çankırı Street and Yeni Sanayi industrial zone.

It started providing services under its current name, URAZ, in 1966 in Ankara Tandoğan as the first authorized service center for Lucas (Cav), and continued to provide maintenance, repair, and spare parts for fuel pumps and injectors of other brands as well.
