Yargı Publishing House started its operations in 1984 as a small business in Ankara's Zafer Bazaar, founded by Yaşar KAVAS, Ahmet KAVAS, and Hüseyin YILDIRIM.
Initially, the company aimed to publish and market university textbooks. Its first publication was "State Assets" by Prof. Dr. Sadık KIRBAŞ. Subsequently, it published textbooks for courses taught at many universities in Turkey, as well as books prepared by distinguished faculty members. Over time, it expanded its scope to include publications in the fields of culture and art.
In 1983, it was the first company in Turkey to publish preparation books for Inspector, Judge, Prosecutor, and District Governor exams, and has become a significant brand in this field.
In 1990, it was restructured as Yargı Basım Yayın Dağıtım Ltd. Şti. and began to be managed by Ömürden KAVAS and Yılmaz Ulaş KAVAS. In 2001, Lecturer Hasan Can OKTAYLAR joined this structure as General Editor and Engin POLAT as Institutionalization Coordinator. This restructuring marked a turning point for the publishing house.
Thus, efforts have been initiated to create a service area and brand in the education sector, starting in Ankara and spreading throughout Turkey.
