Occupational Safety Specialist is a person who is trained to work in the field of occupational health and safety. Those who have hardware and engineering graduates can receive training to become an Occupational Safety Specialist. Graduates of chemistry and physics departments of universities, technical teachers, Occupational Health and Safety graduates can work as Occupational Safety Specialists. Architects and technical staff also get a certificate after receiving the necessary training, so they can work as Occupational Safety Specialists.

Occupational Safety Specialist, in Law No. 6331; It is defined as “inspectors who have been authorized by the Ministry to work in the field of occupational health and safety, who have a certificate of occupational safety expertise, who inspect working life in the Ministry and related institutions, and graduates of faculties providing engineering or architectural education and technical personnel”.
