When and how did you start the Egg Industry?

This sector was first started in 1969 with the purchase and sale of eggs. In 1985, we started production with the 10.000 capacity facility we established in Çubuk district of Ankara. Until 2000, we stopped production twice. After 2000, we increased our production capacity to 150,000 at our current location. In our Kalecik facility (Kalecik Aktepe Village), which we commissioned in 2011, we maintain our current chick rearing capacity at 120,000 units in one building, and our laying hen at a total capacity of 200,000 in 2 hens of 120,000 and 80,000.

How do you market the Egg you produce?

Apart from the eggs we produce ourselves, we supply and market 4 times as many eggs as our current production (approximately 600,000 eggs) from contracted businesses. Our company employs 60 personnel. We serve national and local markets with 14 vehicles for sale. In 2007, we installed a sorting machine with a capacity of 45,000 eggs/hour. We give our eggs to our customers that we serve in Ankara by sorting them. In addition, we have obtained ISO 9001 and 22000 quality certificates in 2008.

What do you pay attention to when buying eggs from other egg producers?

Apart from production, we take care that the eggs we buy from contracted enterprises are of the quality of the eggs we produce. We pay attention to egg size (sorted, properly calibrated), freshness, good shell quality, dark yolk color and high quality white.

What is your future goal as Türe Egg?

Our goal is; is to produce all the eggs we sell. In this regard, we aim to increase our production capacity to 600,000 with the new poultry houses we built on 58 decares of land in Kalecik district of Ankara. In this way, we aim to carry the TÜRE brand to the best places with high standard quality and to become a sought-after brand.
