The European Union has implemented the product safety regulation in medicines as of February 9, 2019. After this date, drugs to be exported from Turkey to Europe must be marked with a QR code in accordance with the regulation and it must be ensured that the box is first opened by the patient. The most common use of the technologies known as tamper evident application in the pharmaceutical industry is to stick labels on the tabs of the medicine boxes. The identifiers on the label to be applied ensure that the medicine box has not been opened before.

In accordance with the regulations published by TITCK in our country, it should be guaranteed that the boxes of drugs containing pregabalin are opened for the first time by the patient. Likewise, the label and tamper evident application can be easily used for this purpose.

In the application of tamper evident with label, our company has developed a system that can perform data matrix printing, 5 lines of OCR/OCV and tamper evident operations with label at a speed of 400 boxes/minute. In the tamper evident application with the label, it is checked whether each label adheres correctly, and the rejects created by the QR code and tamper evident applications are directed to different boxes.

Inkjet data matrix and tamper evident machine work in full integration with VISIOTT serialization line software. The system, which prints data matrix in accordance with the "DRUG TRACKING SYSTEM" regulation applied in our country, can also produce data matrix in accordance with the regulations determined by the authorities of other world countries.
