Industrial fans consist of three parts in structure.

-Propeller
-Engine
-Body

The materials mentioned above vary according to the purpose of use, operating temperature and type of fluid. Accordingly, there are many types of fans.

In industrial applications

Cold air facilities, material handling, separation, ventilation, air mixing places, fuel blowing in solid fuel boilers, cooling systems, heating systems, power generation plants.

In domestic (domestic) applications

In hoods over the oven, bathrooms, WCs.

Comfort applications

Meeting rooms, cinemas, restaurants, smoking rooms

It can be shown as an example of usage areas, but there are many other uses as well.

Today, fans are used with an electric motor, because electric motor fans take up much less space, do not require maintenance, are lighter and have a longer life. Apart from the electric motor, they are used by taking advantage of pneumatic, gasoline or diesel engine, wind power or centrifugal power.

Fans are divided into two;

Radial (CENTRIFUGAL) – in ventilators, the fluid enters the impeller in an axial orbit and exits perpendicular to the axis of rotation.

Axial (AXIAL) – in ventilators, the fluid enters the impeller axially and exits by following a trajectory on the same axis.

Mixed Flow – in ventilators, the fluid enters the impeller in an axial orbit. However, when passing over the guide vanes on the outlet axis, an additional dynamic pressure is created, thus increasing the total pressure. These fans are characterized as a "mixture of Radial and Axial fans". Their flow rates are close to axial fans – their pressures are close to radial fans. However, motor energy consumption is equally average in parallel. It is generally suitable for use in environments with space problems.
