BRC was founded in the late 60's by Romano Bogetti as a local gas equipment dealer in Cherasco, Italy. In the late 70s, Bogetti decided to venture into the irreplaceable and hard-to-find Polyvanne production. Later, with the agreement signed with the Costamagna brothers, the owners of MTM, a small workshop established in Cherasco in 1977, the BRC brand was officially born.

Production expanded with other parts and their market share grew. In 1980, all variants in the LPG and CNG range began to be produced. BRC switched to carburation controlled electronic system in 1991 and one year later, in 1992, Costamagna brothers incorporated BRC completely and established MTM-BRC Gas Equipment. Today, it holds the distinction of being the world's largest LPG and CNG kit production brand with its 50,000 m2 closed area, 11 different production areas and 1500 employees. BRC, which is represented in 70 different countries, is increasing its compressor, domestic filling devices and DOEM production day by day, and such as Chevrolet, Citroen, Ford, Great Wall, Honda, Kia, Mitsubishi, Peugeot, Piaggio, Subaru, Suzuki and Volvo, which are described as World Giants. It also collaborates with brands. In addition to all these, BRC organizes Alternative Fuel System Races and proves to the consumer that it develops safe and performance products since 2011 with track championship and rally. 2A has been providing advanced technology and infrastructure services in Turkey as the sole authorized distributor of BRC since 1995.
