In order for a comfort or industrial cooling system to operate properly and efficiently, the total water volume in the circuit must be above a certain amount. This amount is determined depending on the capacity and the desired control accuracy. If the total water volume of the system is below this amount, the thermal capacity should be increased by adding a Thermal Balance Tank.

It is a specially designed and manufactured tank to increase the system water volume in all chilled water applications where additional water volume is required.
General Features of Buffer Tanks:

• It is offered to our customers in various capacities from 100 liters to 5000 liters.
• In order to prevent heat stratification and to provide a homogeneous heat distribution, there are a number of partition plates suitable for the tank volume. In this way, the air in the water can be easily separated and thrown out from the top of the tank.
• If desired, it is delivered perfectly insulated to minimize energy loss.
• Its outer surface is protected against corrosion with a double layer of industrial primer paint.
• It is ready to be installed in the system with flanged connection ports sized in accordance with the tank volume.
• It has connection ports for air discharge valve and discharge valve.
• Before being delivered to the customer, it is tested under 1.5 times the operating pressure.
