Multi-purpose FORE Flexural Bodies are designed with the aim of obtaining highly accurate, repeatable test results with minimum deformation at maximum load. In welded steel bodies, the piston is carried by the body top cap. All frames are equipped with a one-way downstroke piston and a cut-out switch that stops the machine when the piston's maximum stroke is exceeded. Aiming at maximum accuracy in load measurements, piston returns are provided with dead weight or spring system. Load cells are used for load measurement on all bodies.
Each model is designed to work with all necessary accessories for bending, breaking load, splitting tension, pressure etc. experiments. FR-BC 293 model U type with 200 kN capacity and FR-BC 293 model 300 kN capacity C type FORE bending body designs allow easy and practical placement of samples into the body.
The extremely rigid type C body is ideal for bending tests as well as more sophisticated tests such as deformation and ductility/ductility index.
Loading bodies are built with stability to ensure accurate and repeatable results over the years.
All frames can be connected to FORE pressure presses as a second body or used as a stand-alone bending test press with any FORE power unit.
Flexural test apparatus sets should be ordered separately.
