D8L-D9N TRANSMISSION MODIFICATION

With the modification we have introduced to the application, we convert D8L, D8N and D9N transmission fluids to D9R transmission fluids, increasing the machine performance and eliminating transmission overheating. The modification process we have mentioned has been applied to 70 machines so far and results have been obtained.

Overheating problems were observed in all D8L dozers in general. This is because the transmission pump feeds the torque after creating the transmission clutch and return pressures while circulating the oil.

If there is no leakage anywhere, the oil entering the torque is 45 gpm. Since Tork uses 45 gpm of oil under load, the flow of oil passing through the cooler decreases and the lubrication pressure is low for this reason.

The inadequacy of the oil circulation in the cooler and the decrease in the lubrication pressure cause the lubrication to not be fully provided in any leakage that occurs in the power tarin system, causing the transmission hydraulic temperature to increase, and the transmission belts, discs, gears and pins to cause costly damages due to lubrication.

In D8L Dozers, after the transmission pump creates the rear-stage transmission-return-brake pressures, it sends the remaining 35 gpm oil to the torque.

In D9N and D9Rs, Transmission Front stage continues to feed torque directly with approximately 40 gpm oil, using the right filter instead of sending torque and transmission reservoir oil to the tank, unlike D8L dozers.

As a result of the operation of this system, the oil flow rate entering the torque reaches approximately 65 gpm. In line with the high flow rate, an increase in the lubrication pressure is also observed. Normal transmission lubrication pressure allows adequate lubrication of transmission belts, discs, balls and gears and prevents malfunctions that may be encountered due to transmission overheating.

In D9Rs, on the other hand, a stage helps the torque in lubrication by feeding the coolant with the oil it absorbs from the chamber.
