Epoxy Paınts

  • Plas'coll Antistatic Primer

DEFINITION:

It is a basic, two-component surface saturation and reinforcement material containing solvent epoxy and conductive compounds and additives that can be modified for construction elements, metal and wood.

USAGE AREAS:

By taking advantage of the porosity of the surface, by absorbing 1 to 1.5 mm according to some places:

-Provides positive properties for the second and third floors to the surface.

-reinforces the surface element within itself.

BEFORE APPLICATION

Surface and application preparations: The surfaces to be applied must be free of all kinds of dirt, oil, rust and moisture. Volatile surfaces are transformed into fixed surface systems with spatula, sandpaper or more stubborn roughnesses by sanding, grinding and wiping methods. The most suitable dust removal and cleaning method is air and water. Another point to be considered is that the surface is free from moisture. Water makes the material unhealthy with a reverse acid reaction. For positive results, metal surfaces are treated with phosphating and antioxidant material before application.

Product preparation:

A and B components are supplied as a set. What needs to be done is to thoroughly mix A and B in the given amounts. A hand mixer can be used for this job. Since the material mixture will start to show an exothermic gel after 20 minutes, it is generally recommended to be consumed between 1.5 and 2 hours; otherwise, material losses or application difficulties may occur. If the mixed amount is too much for the area where the material will be applied, small mixtures made with the ratios specified on the products will solve the problem. The product is thinned with the special PLAS'COLL EPOXY THINNER according to the tool to be applied. Preparations for the application tools: Brush, roller or gun should be kept ready free of water.

APPLICATION

Method of application: The material prepared for use should be consumed within 4 hours at the latest. On porous (porous) surfaces such as concrete, ytong or cracked surfaces, the material should be applied in such a way that it penetrates deeply.

AFTER APPLICATION

Drying time: (20 C) First drying :1-2 hours

Final drying: 5-6 hours Chemical curing: Begins after 24 hours.

Storage of application tools: The product that hardens as a result of chemical reaction may harden on the application tools and cause that tool to not be used again. Therefore, the tool is cleaned with Plas'coll EPOXY THINNER right after the application or during breaks during long applications.

CONSUMPTION

The functional type has a consumption rate of 200 gr to 300 gr/m2, depending on the applied surface and the way of application.

STORAGE

The product has a stock life of 6 months when it is closed in the form of A and B components in which it is sold.
