Karyer Makine was founded in 1953 by Zeki Yerdelen in Ankara. Later on, it continued its business life as Istanbul Center and Ankara, and is a representative company that has been continuing its commercial activities for 66 years in the heavy construction and construction machinery branch in Turkey. Karyer, the sole authorized representative of Bomag Road Rollers and Road Machines for 40 consecutive years, is the market leader in its sector.

Tatmak, on the other hand, started its business life with the aim of operating in the light construction and storage equipment branch, brought the world's best-known LINDE Forklifts to the Turkish market for the first time in 1977 and served as the Turkish representative of Linde Forklifts for many years, later as a German brand and the best concrete pump in the world. Also known as Putzmeister Concrete Pumps, Erman Yerdelen brought it to the Turkish market for the first time in 1972. Concrete pumps, a machine group unknown to the Turkish market at that time, entered the Turkish market for the first time.

After working for many years as the Turkey representative of Tatmak Putzmeister Concrete Pumps, it has produced Putzmeister Concrete Pumps in Turkey with German Patent, Turkish dominant partnership, first in Gayrettepe and then in Göktürk Istanbul factories. Having ended its production life of Putzmeister Concrete Pumps for more than 40 years in 2006, Tatmak continued its business life only as a representative company. Today, Tatmak successfully continues its active business life in Turkey in the light equipment branch.

Karyer-Tatmak group companies operate mainly in the road machinery sector as the market leader in Turkey. Karyer and Tatmak are also active in the fields of Bucher road sweepers used in city cleaning, Heli brand forklifts and various personnel elevators.
