Precast concrete is a special type of concrete with higher performance values than conventional concrete. It contains silica sand, white cement, water, polymer, chemical additives and glass fiber fibers. Thanks to glass fiber fibers, precast concrete gains flexibility and durability. Since it is produced by spraying method, it can be given the desired shape very easily with any mold.

It can also be used as a jamb in the form of heat insulated precast facade panels and precast shell panels. It is produced with rockwool or foam insulation to provide both sound and heat insulation and is mounted with steel anchors and special steel dowels. Since it is produced in the form of heat-insulated precast facade panels, there is no need to spend additional insulation in the buildings, since the insulation is already in itself.

The word grc, on the other hand, means glass reinforced concrete, and after the rough of the building is finished, it is supported by a steel skeleton (called carcass) with the required section lengths according to the static calculation, and the beams are mounted to the building with special channel-type anchoring materials.

In addition, in a test conducted in Russia, its resistance to an earthquake of 9 magnitude was tested and received very positive results. It is produced from A1 class non-combustible material.

It is true that it is generally preferred in ostentatious buildings and it makes the buildings appear much more ostentatious than they are. There seems to be almost no limit in terms of design in buildings that can be built with this method. In addition, since it has a light and thin structure, it does not put too much load on the buildings. Therefore, precast facade systems have started to become very popular today.
