Fall Arrest Belt or also known as Parachute Type Safety Belt .
It is a system designed to completely or partially wrap the body, preventing the occurrence of the fall event by terminating the fall of the individual during a fall.

The belt is manufactured by systematically integrating 48 mm wide and 3 mm thick polyester or kevlar columns. Arch columns must show a minimum breaking strength of 22 kN. The seams that are joined to each other of the columns to be manufactured are sewn using a UV resistant number 10 bonded thread. If it is concluded that these sewing shapes are suitable for the product at the certification stage, it is obligatory to produce using the same sewing type and style in the products to be produced later.

If there is a lumbar support on the fall arrest belt , this belt can also be used for "positioning" jobs.

The fall arrest or fall arrest and positioning belt cannot be used alone. In order for the user to protect himself and prevent the fall from happening, he must tie himself to an anchor point that provides at least 15 kN strength with the help of a rope and carabiner.

Fall arrest belts must meet at least one standard, or they can combine multiple standards in a single product.

Standards for fall arrest and positioning belts;

CE EN 358 : Refers to waist reinforced belts used only for positioning. This belt does not perform fall termination.
CE EN 361 : In addition to fall arrest, if the 358 standard is included, it is the belt standard that also serves as a positioning.
CE EN 813 : Leg protection class on the belt. It is the belt model standard used mainly in jobs that require a very long time to work.
CE EN 358 : Positioning belt.
CE EN 361 : Fall arrest belt.
CE EN 358-361 (If two standards are combined) Fall arrest and positioning belt.
CE EN 358-361-813 :(If three standards are combined) Fall arrest and positioning belt.
CE EN 358-813 : (If two standards are combined) Lower harness safety belt.
