We should re-explore the Central Asia

OSTİM Technical University the President of the Board of Trustees and OSTİM Chairman of the Executive Board Orhan Aydın, emphasing theTurkish and Islam Civilization in Central Asia, said “The light transforming and changing the European Civilization came from Central Asia. We need to re-explore the people who built this civilization, these structures and education institutions in here, at that time. We will use every means we have to help the development and improvement of Uzbekistan”

We should re-explore the Central Asia

OSTİM Committee, continuing its touch within the scope of Central Asia Programme, held introductory meeting of OSTİM with the Directorate of Economic Affairs. In the meeting, alongwith the OSTİM Committee, Uzbek business world’s representatives were present.

Firstly, The President of Uzbekistan Economic Affairs Muhtor Umorov gave an opening speech.

We are ready to share knowledge and experience of 50 years”  

OSTİM OIZ Regional Director Adem Arıcı made an introductory presentation. Reminding that OSTİM was planned in 1967 as industry and trade center, Arıcı said “We have an extended region designed for trade and industry of nearby geography such as Central Asia Turkish Republics, especially Middle East, not just for the industry of Turkey.”

Arıcı, expressing there are many production companies from satellite technology to critical sectors such as defence and medical industry, shared his thought “We are a regional development model with our companies’ power and management. As OSTİM, we are the model of how a region, a city and a country is supposed to be developped.”

Arıcı, pointing that they are pioneers in sectoral clusters in Turkey as OSTİM, noted that they host 7 sectoral clusters as business and construction machines, defense and aviation, renewable energy, medical, rail systems, rubber Technologies and communication Technologies.

OSTİM OIZ Regional Directorate Adem Arıcı said “ We are ready to share our knowledge and experience of over 50 years with our institions and organizations, clusters.

“Our cooperation in production and education will continue”

The President of OSTİM Technical University Prof. Dr. Murat Yülek gave information about the university. Yülek states that there are graduates as technician, engineers and managers with practical training, pointing out that it is the only university in the world established in industrial site.

Yülek, noting that they exchanged views on transfering practical training to the country with the presidents of universities in Uzbekistan, said “We have worked on transfering our experience to the universities in Uzbekistan. Our cooperation with different universities will continue on both production and technical education.”

“Let’s cooperate and join our forces”

OSTİM Technical University the President of the Board of Trustees and OSTİM Chairman of the Executive Board Orhan Aydın states that cooperation on trade, education and Organized Industrial Sites is on their agenda within the scope of Central Asia programme.

Orhan Aydın, emphasizing that the light changing the world, European civilization and Middle Ages and enlightenment started Central Asia, “In these medreses, scientists such as İbni Sina, Biruni, Harezmi, Hoca Ahmet Yesevi, Uluğbey and Ali Kuşçu studied science and technology in Samarkand and Buhara. Right now, there is not medrese bigger than this one in the world. The light changing and transforming European civilization came from Central Asia. European scientists developed their works thanks to our ancestors’s knowledge.”

Aydın, pointing the importance of re-explore civilization built by Turks in Central Asia in the past, “We need to re-explore the people who built this civilization, these structures and education institutions. I came here with this idea before. I also encouraged all my friends on this. We have so many things to Exchange. Knowledge and wisdom belongs to all. We take it whereever we find and use it for humanity. We cooperate with Uzbekistan business world and join our forces with Uzbekistan. We give you what we have and we take from you what you have. Let’s find good in this. We are open to share our knowledge and experience. We use our every means to support the development and improvement of Uzbekistan.”
