Stainless Steel is defined as an alloy obtained by adding a minimum of 10.5%-11% chromium to the steel in metallurgy. Stainless steel is defined as a metal that does not corrode or rust and does not leave water stains on it like ordinary steels. The factors that determine the corrosion and rust resistance of stainless steel are the chromium ratio and the passivation ratio.
