Application
The 4S IsonST is indispensable in the field of passive corrosion protection.

The most different coatings and corrosion protection materials have proven time and again over a long period of time in non-destructive high voltage testing. Recipe testing by many works' specifications and standards has made a successful contribution, in the framework of quality control, to reducing withholding times and avoiding cuts in production and subsequent repair costs.

The coating can be tested for pores, cracks, or shipping damage that is hardly distinguishable by short high voltage impulses in thicknesses from a few millimeters to a few hundred micrometers. The short duration of action of the impulses makes it possible to test with energy reserves, which, in turn, guarantees the stability of the selected test voltage, even with dirty or damp surfaces.

Defective areas can be distinguished, whether they have pipes, clearly covered containers, plastic seams, fully sheathed parts or machine parts covered with rubber on the outside or inside, ... everywhere where non-conductive coatings are superimposed on conductive materials (for example, metal, wet concrete) or insulating Coatings are having a cover of conductive materials (e.g. plastic seams in pipes or containers).

Accessories
A large number of accessories are available for a wide range of applications. Test electrodes for the most diverse shapes of objects and coatings are complemented by components to use different grounding possibilities, including capacitance grounding to test fully coated components.

The fully cut brush electrodes and helical electrodes are impressively robust and hard to wear. All electrodes can even be easily swapped with older versions of ISOTEST.
