Measurement Principle
The DMTF transit time flowmeter uses two transducers that function as both ultrasonic transmitters and receivers. The transducers are compressed outside of a closed tube at a certain distance from each other. The transducers can be installed in the V-method, or W-method, in which case the ultrasound tube cannot be read four times, or in the Z-method inside case with two tubes, in this case the ultrasound tube is mounted against the transducers, and the ultrasound edges of the tube cannot be read only once. The choice of mounting method depends on the pipe and fluid properties. When the flowmeter works, two transducers transmit and receive ultrasonic signals amplified by a multi-beam (Figure 1) traveling firstly downstream and then upstream. Because ultra sound moves upstream faster than downstream, (t△) flight time will be difference. When the flow is still, the time difference (t △) is zero. Therefore, as long as we know the flight time for both up and down, we can study the time difference and then the flow rate (V) and flow volume (Q) via the following formula.

Although primarily designed for clean liquids, the flowmeter can reliably measure liquids containing a moderate amount of suspended solids or aeration. The DMTFP is designed for short or long term flow measurement surveys in full pipe liquid systems and is ideal for verifying any permanently installed flow meter calibration.
Measurement Principle
DMTF transit time flowmeters utilize two transducers that function as both ultrasonic transmitters and receivers. The transducers are clamped on the outside of a closed pipe at a certain distance from each other. The transducers are mounted on the transducers upside down, in this case the ultra sound is twice the pipe inside, in this case method V-, or The ultra sound can be installed four times, or in this case the W-method tube inside the Z-method tube, and the ultra sound transverses the tube only once. The choice of mounting method depends on the pipe and fluid properties. When the flowmeter works, the two transducers transmit and first move up and down (Figure 1) and then receive multi-beam amplified ultrasonic signals. Because ultrasound moves up faster and down, there will be a difference in flight time (△ t). When flowing, the time difference (△ t) is zero. Therefore, as long as we know the two flight times up and down, we can then take care of the clock difference and current velocity (V) and current volume (Q) via the following formula.
Data Recording and Software Program
Features:
1. Memory capacity can be 512MB, 1GB, 2GB, 4GB, 8GB provides data recording based on SD card data memory. Normally, 1GB can store 5 years of data with session 5 minutes apart.
2. It is very easy to read data from SD card (just Plug Out Dynameters Data Logger and browse to SD card file, run Dynameters Data logger and analyze software).
