Description: It is used to determine the ductility of bitumen, ie the distance at which a bitumen briquette can creep under controlled conditions before breaking.

The ductileometer basically consists of a movable conveyor that moves along the guideways.

The conveyor is moved by an electric motor inside a large tank equipped with a digital thermostat, electric heater and pump unit.

Ductility Tester works automatically at 50 mm/min and its maximum travel distance is 1500 mm.

The entire tank is made of stainless steel with fiberglass insulation and the outer frame is powder coated.

The water bath temperature is kept constant at 25 °C ± 0.5 °C with a digital thermoregulator.

4 different models are produced: Standard Ductility Tester, Cooling System Ductility Tester, Forced Ductility Tester and Cooling System Forced Ductility Tester.

The Ductylometer with Cooling System is used for tests with a water temperature of 5 °C to + 25 °C and is equipped with an integrated cooling unit.

Forced Ductility Tester has 3 Load Cells. Its speed can be adjusted between 1 and 100 mm/min with a servo motor.

3 samples can be tested at the same time with all models.

Supplied with 3 Briquette Molds and Bottom Plate.
