Vertical shaft crushers are a tertiary crusher used to crush hard and abrasive materials between 0-45mm, to cubicize and to obtain sand.

It is produced in two types as closed rotor and open rotor. 0-45mm max size stone can be fed to closed rotor type vertical shaft crushers. Since there may be material larger than these dimensions in the sieve material on the return, it is definitely not suitable to break the return material.

Vertical shaft crushers throw the material entering the rotor at a speed of about 67-80 m/s and crash the stone box stone lining formed naturally in the stator and the material entering the system from the outside of the rotor (by breaking the stone against the stone).

Vertical Shaft Crusher is used for the crushing of material with a hardness lower than 9th class and a moisture content of less than 9%. The materials must be non-flammable and non-explosive mineral materials.
