Oil filters keep polluted oils and particles formed due to wear away from the engine and reduce the wear on the engine, machinery and hydraulic systems, ensuring their longevity. The quality of the oil used is as important as the filter used in the engine oil filtering system. As long as these two elements work in harmony, they only complement each other.

The most important problem encountered in oil filters is the leakage problem caused by excessive pressure. The high pressure that the filter is exposed to usually either removes the sealing gasket or loosens the clamp that connects the filter cover to the bowl. If the pressure produced by the lubrication pump is not controlled by the regulating valve, it will exceed the permissible limit and cause damage. Therefore, it should be noted that the pressure regulating valve is part of the lubrication system.
