Automatic tunnel type electrostatic powder coating ovens are designed for continuous work. These ovens do not have entrance and exit doors like box type ovens. Air curtains have been placed instead of the door, and cold air is blown from these curtains by means of aspirators, preventing hot air from coming out. The oven is constantly at 200°C.
In tunnel kilns, the conveyor is in constant motion. The material is loaded on the conveyor in the loading area, washing (cleaning) and phosphate coating processes are carried out with chemicals sprayed on the material with the spray nozzles while passing through the spray line, then the material that dries while passing through the drying oven is painted in the powder coating cabinet and directed to the baking oven. While passing through the baking oven, it completes the baking and curing time and exits the oven, and the process is completed by being taken from the oven conveyor at the unloading station. The facility is in constant motion.
Conveyor speed is adjusted according to the wall thickness and length of the material to be painted.
In tunnel kilns, the material enters from one side and exits from the other. Optionally, it can be manufactured with internal U-turn. In U-turn furnaces, the material exits again from the side it entered by making a U-turn inside the furnace. U-turn furnaces are generally preferred to save space in cases where there is a shortage of space in the factory.
Fully automatic tunnel kiln is preferred by high capacity enterprises.
