Operation of carburetor vehicles with LPG

Liquid LPG, drawn into the engine compartment by pulling a Thermoflex hose or copper pipe from the special LPG tank placed in the trunk of the vehicle, first reaches the LPG Electrovalve and then the Evaporator-Regulator. The Evaporative Regulator transforms the liquid LPG into gas phase in two stages by means of the heat it receives from the engine's cooling water circuit. LPG has a pressure of 650-850 millibars at the Evaporative Regulator outlet. The amount of LPG needed according to the engine speed is automatically adjusted with a nozzle-diaphragm-spring combination in the Evaporator Regulator, depending on the vacuum created in the vehicle.
After passing through the adjusting screw with a flexible hose, the LPG coming out of the Evaporative Regulator comes to the mixer part mounted on the carburetor and providing a homogeneous mixture of gas and air. With the vacuum provided by the engine, the gas-air mixture reaches the cylinders. Of course, at this stage the petrol electrovalve must have stopped the petrol flow.
